Repairs

These necklaces are made to be worn and enjoyed, but sometimes life happens. I stand behind my work with a 60-day repair warranty.

If you have an issue with the clasp, hardware, or stringing within the first 60 days, reach out to me and I’ll take care of it. If your necklace is damaged from pulling, snagging, or an accident, reach out anyway. I’m always happy to see what I can do.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you use?

I use a mix of natural stone, dyed and treated stone, glass beads, resin beads, African and Java glass, and other beads that I find and love.

My necklaces are finished with 18k gold PVD-plated hardware, a durable, tarnish-resistant finish made to hold up beautifully with regular wear. Some designs also include 14k gold-filled spacers and accents.

Each necklace listing includes the specific materials used in that piece. I use the material names provided by my suppliers whenever possible and do my best to be transparent about what I know about each bead.

Everything is strung on durable 49-strand jewelry wire for flexibility, strength, and a beautiful drape.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Your necklace is meant to be worn, but a little care will help keep it looking its best.

The PVD-plated hardware is designed to be durable and more resistant to tarnishing, water, and everyday sweat than traditional plating. That said, prolonged or repeated exposure to sweat, water, lotions, perfumes, and chemicals may shorten the life of the finish over time.

I recommend removing your necklace before showering, swimming, or working out, and storing it somewhere dry when you aren’t wearing it. Avoid pulling or putting unnecessary tension on the strand.

What length are the necklaces?

Most Naptime necklaces are adjustable, so you have a little flexibility depending on how you want to wear them.

Lengths vary by design, generally from 16–22 inches. You’ll find the exact adjustable length listed on each individual necklace.
