But photographs can preserve these memories for a lifetime.
What is a lifestyle newborn session?
Lifestyle newborn sessions are in-home, relaxed sessions capturing the newness of your sweet baby in their own environment. Natural posing of family and baby means that your little one will always stay in safe, comfortable positions, surrounded by the people that love them most. This looks like snuggles with mom and dad, photos in their nursery, details of their little hands and feet—just a perfect mix of solo and family images to preserve this incredibly unique and special time.

High resolution downloads of ALL of the best images from our session together (40+ images) with print release so you can print and share your images as much as you’d like

what to expect
Surprises are great, but not when it comes to your session timeline! Let me walk you through my planning, shooting, and delivery process step by step so you’ll know exactly what comes next.
Booking Your Session
Once we have had chance to chat and get to know each other a bit better, I’ll send you a booking link, which is your one-stop-shop to sign your client agreement, fill out your session questionnaire, and pay your session fee ($250, which is credited towards the price of your session)! Final payment will be due 24 hours prior to our session (everything can be paid through my booking platform with credit card!).
I’ll take note of your baby’s due date and mark it on my calendar, and once your little one arrives, just let me know and we will get a specific date and time set up sometime within those first two weeks! I’ll send you all of the information you’ll need beforehand to make the most of our time together and prepare yourselves and baby for our session!
During Your Session
When the day of our session arrives, I’ll arrive at your home and take it from there—we’ll find the best light and the best locations to photograph your growing family in a beautiful, natural way. Our session will last around 2 hours, during which we will let your little one’s schedule guide our time together—we’ll have plenty of time to stop and offer feedings, change diapers, or snuggle out of a fussy spell. I’ll guide you into comfortable poses that foster genuine interaction, laughter, and joy! We’ll get a variety of images with the whole family, with individual groupings, and of the baby alone in locations around your home with beautiful light (trust me, every home has some)! We’ll capture all of those tiny newborn details you’ll want to remember and all of the love that comes with welcoming a new little soul into your world!
After Your Session
Within a week of your session, you’ll receive a sneak peek of a few of my favorite images. Then, about about two weeks later, I’ll email you a link to your private online gallery, where you’ll be able to view your images in a custom slideshow set to music. I LOVE for my clients to see their images in this way for the first time and encourage you to wait until everyone’s home and cast it to the TV so you can watch it together as a family. You’ll then have access to download ALL of the final images from our session together, as well as use your print credit in the gallery store, which is full of a curated selection of heirloom quality prints and artwork so you can display and enjoy your memories for generations to come! Your gallery will stay open for 30 days so you have plenty of time to download your images and make any gallery store purchases!
